Voice
Voice lessons, spanning various styles within Contemporary Commercial Music (CCM), offer both group and private sessions. Group lessons foster confidence, vocal techniques, and the joy of singing with others. Private lessons provide personalised programs tailored to individual abilities and interests. Led by our skilled CCA Voice Teachers in a supportive and enjoyable environment, students receive tools and techniques to unlock their true vocal potential, with optional performance opportunities included in CCA showcases.

Music
Music lessons cater to both personal enjoyment and professional aspirations, tailoring lessons to individual levels and specific musical goals in genres like jazz, rock, funk, and groove. The program covers essential aspects such as reading music, technique development, music theory, ear training, and more, accommodating all ages and skills. AMEB exams and grading are currently offered for Drums and Piano.

Contemporary
Contemporary dance, developed in the mid-twentieth century, prioritises strong technique development. For optimal technical development, students are encouraged to combine this with enrolments of Ballet to gain skills in legwork isolations. Instructors focus on rhythm, speed, direction, and expressive elements to cultivate both technical proficiency and performance quality.
Grade 4 to Grade 10

Ballet
Ages 3+

Jazz
A highly popular dance style at both here Citipointe Creative Academy and worldwide. Encompasses diverse techniques such as jumps, turns, isolations, and floor work. CCA emphasises intelligent learning, focusing on technical development for body longevity and individual dancer intuition, ensuring memorable jazz classes with fun choreography and age-appropriate music.
Ages 3+

Hip Hop at Citipointe Creative Academy is a vibrant blend of traditional street elements, technical skills, and bold musicality, presented in a dynamic and high-energy style accompanied by clean and age-appropriate music. The Teaching Artists prioritise delivering a technically excellent and engaging hip hop class, incorporating world-class choreography that progresses from foundational movements to powerful breakdancing techniques.
Prep – Grade 1

Acro
Acro (Acrobatic Dance), a fun and dynamic dance style, enables students to learn and incorporate impressive skills into routines. Guided by our certified instructor through The AcrobaticArts program. This safe and innovative program, developed by industry professionals, encompasses five divisions of AcroDance: Flexibility, Strength, Balancing, Limbering, and Tumbling.
Prep – Grade 3
Dive into Acro (Acrobatic Dance). Learn impressive skills in a fun and safe environment focusing on flexibility, strength, balancing, limbering, and tumbling.
Grade 4 – Grade 10
For Grade 4 to Grade 10, explore foundations of advanced Acro (Acrobatic Dance). Master skills in Flexibility, Strength, Balancing, Limbering, and Tumbling through the AcrobaticArts program.
Dance Concepts
Dance Concepts is a playful class for children aged 3 and up, blending Ballet and Jazz elements to promote coordination, creativity, and musicality. Designed for childcare and kindergarten levels (not suitable for prep students).
Perfomance Squad
An audition only opportunity for dedicated students seeking audition and performance experience. Limited to just 25 spots per squad, this elite program offers regular performance opportunities. A supportive community and engaging in advanced technical training across Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary Dance, Hip Hop, and Tap. Students can expect to enjoy being immersed in high-level age appropriate choreography led by industry-professional teaching artists. Requires enrollment in a minimum of one additional weekly CCA dance class in Ballet, Jazz, or Contemporary.
Grade 2 – Grade 5

Speech & Drama
A dynamic class that nurtures self-expression and creativity, fostering acting skills, 21st-century communication, and performance exploration. Through engaging theatre games and meaningful processes, students develop confidence in performing with both body and voice, exploring diverse characters and situations in a fun and safe environment that encourages both playfulness and authenticity.
Video Production
Discover the art of video production in our beginner-friendly masterclass at CCA. Using the industry-competitive editing programDaVinci Resolve, students will delve into the basics of video editing, covering fundamental techniques in editing, filming, and visual storytelling. Join us to unlock your creative potential and embark on a journey into the world of cinematography. Students will be required to provide a suitable laptop for this class.
